CommuteSMARTseacoast

CommuteSMARTseacoast is a Transportation Management Association (TMA), developed to work with major employers in the greater Seacoast area to promote commuting options in addition to the single occupant vehicle. CommuteSMARTseacoast promotes carpooling, bicycling, walking, and telecommuting; and offers employees of member companies access to free carpool ridematching, monthly incentives for alternative commutes, and annual corporate challenge events where employers compete to have the most avoided auto trips and vehicle miles. CommuteSMART is a program of COAST, and is guided by an Advisory Board comprised of employer members. Membership is free and open to any employer in the greater Seacoast region of New Hampshire. RPC staff serve on the commuteSMART Board of Directors and provide planning assistance with rider surveys, GIS and demographic analysis, and collaborate in organizing annual activities for Seacoast Bike/Walk to Work Day and the Corporate Commute Challenge.
